Four Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident on 22 Freeway

Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on 22 freeway Sunday afternoon.

The collision occurred around 2:22 p.m. in the eastbound lanes near the Euclid Street interchange.

Eight vehicles were involved.

Two adults were transported to local hospitals as trauma patients and two others, an adult and a child, sustained minor injuries.

Authorities believe a vehicle may have fled the scene of the collision.

Eastbound traffic remained congested for hours after the accident.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
