3 Killed in a Fatal Car Accident On Highway 99 near Le Grand

Three people died in a fatal car accident on Highway 99 near Le Grand Wednesday morning.

A gold Chevy Silverado was headed southbound on Highway 99 near Mission Avenue when it crossed the median, onto the northbound lanes around 7:30 a.m.

The Silverado struck a black Ford Explorer.

A 50-year old man driving the Silverado and his female passenger, along with the driver of the Explorer, all died at the scene.

The accident is currently under investigation. No other details have been released.

The left and the middle northbound lanes near Mission Avenue are closed. Expect delays if you are traveling through the area.
